Default Still having trouble launching a M6 on street tires!

I went out last night to practice launching my car, trying to get ready for opening day tommorrow at Cecil County(2/27) First attempt, 2500rpm launch, I eased off the clutch and the car spun a little then bogged then took off. After a cool down, I tried again, 2500rpm eased of the clutch, this time the car just bogged completely. Last attempt, same thing but I eased off the clutch a lot quicker and the car spun all through first, never even got my foot to the floor. Is 2500rpms too high to launch a stock car stock tire with? What do you guys launch at on street tires with the stock 10 bolt? I've heard of some of the vette guys, over at corvetteforum.com, this guy had a 95 LT1 6 speed, it was pretty much all stock, he launched off idle and ran 13.0-12.9. That was on street tires too, 13.0 completely stock, 12.9 with some free mods. Any ideas? I don't want to practice too much and mess my clutch up, but I don't know what to do? I need the practice! Track is tommorrow!!!!

If the car is bogging then bring the revs up higher to say 3500 and do it the same way as when it bogged.
I leave at 4000 on the street and when the car starts to move out, I giet on the gas. Just have to practice with your timing on giving it the gas.

Seems to me from my experience that slipping the clutch heavy is the best/only way to get a good launch out of the stock gear ratio without burning the tires or bogging. I just don't want to burn my clutch so quickly I give up really nice 60 foot times.

Yea well it's a little easier with 4.11's, slicks and a 12 bolt. He's talking about a stock rear, stock gears and stock tires....

Look at my sig, 1.67 on 16 inch Nittos. stock 10 bolt with 4.10 gears. I did break the rear on the second 1.67 that night but it was only a tooth off the spider gears.
My car has been quicker on Nittos then et streets untill just this month , I put 4.30's in the 12 bolt and now it seems to be geared better for the et streets.
