Default 5.3 w/TB converter whats needed?

I am picking up my trans from the builder this week and read on hear that the TB converter is a higher stall and that i should install one. The builder says I will need a spacer or different flex plate. Anyone shead some light on this for me?

Should be a direct fit, assuming you have a 4L60 now. Just an FYI - We have a TB 278mm option we make, added durability and performance over the stock counter part.

I'd go with aftermarket over stock. Better performance and a better part IMO. The 11 inch converters can be had for a good deal too.
