WS6 air box with TA flat hood?

can a tall WS6 lower air box be used with the standard TA flat hood?

im getting a WS6 hood from VFN but wondering if i can put my air box on without having the hood yet.

I would have to say no. I'm not 100% but that's what I think. It doesn't hurt to try though. You know what I mean?

it kinda looks like it would fit but i dont want to go thru all the trouble and switch it out unless it fits......

someone might chime in that knows for sure.
