I Broke a T&D Rocker Arm in Half Today!
I can't believe it but i actually broke a TD shaft rocker on my way to work today at 70mph 1800rpm lol, it broke just the body into two pieces so i was very lucky in deed, i'm waiting to hear back from td on what they think as i really can't find a reason why it happened other than it finally fatigued and let go but thats racing! springs are comp 26926 shimmed .050 from cb

Yes I checked the swipe pattern, none of them perfectly center or completely contact the stem Side to side most Shaftrocker setups don't, comp calls for. 016 intake. 018 exhaust I've ran them as tight as. 012i .014e and as loose as. 020 but the lash always stays put TD says I pushed them for too long LOL oh well I have different heads and want to sell the solid roller stuff to pay for a hyd setup, I'm just replacing the one rocker and still using them
They were made in 2001 and I put new bearings in them but they use to be on a 750 lift race car so I'd say TD makes awesome stuff!
