Intake manifold help please!!
Hello. I just bought a 1998 SS Camaro. I've heard the 2001-2002 intake manifolds are better. My questions are:
Is this true?
What do I do about the egr, how do I convert or remove that?
Is there a special name for this intake when I'm searching for one?
Thanks in advance guys

You are looking for LS6 intake.
As far as the EGR you will need some sort of tune (handheld or dyno tune) to keep the fault from lighting up your SES light.
As far as how to remove/convert the EGR i would imagine it depends on your exhaust system (didn't even bother looking for options). The american racing headers i have do not have any type of port for the EGR so wasnt really a choice for me so never researched that.
Hope that helps a little or will help narrow your search down. Use the search drop down and try searching EGR removal or something to that effect. Sure you will find a ton of threads.
