Rear is whining very slightly after oil change I just changed my rear bearings, seals, oil (Coastal 75w-90), and one of the axle shafts. I bought the car with a bent rim which i believe caused the bearing to wear out so there's always been some kinda noise back there so i don't know if this just started. Since i got everything taken car of and everything is quiet, i notice a slight whine coming from the rear around 50mph+.
I did not add the GM additive, should I? I have no idea what kind of carrier it is but i don't remember seeing any springs or whatever, just gears. It has 3.73 gears in it when i got it so i don't know what all was changed.
