I've done a basic search, I know the 98 is very different than 99+. That said, I have a plan for my 98 SS and I don't to run into tunning issues later. I want to build a very very streetable 427. The goal here isn't HP but more drivability.

My basic understanding is, the 98 has lack of idle control tunning.

Please let me know before I go too far with my build plans.
