Default Is this possible? Or I'm overthinking?

Hello,

Here is my question regarding HP Tuners. I was using an older copy of HP Tuners to build a base file for my car. I uploaded the file into the car and it ran great. Car idled real well and never died, it ran strong with no issues.

I than got a newer beta version of the software. I used it to open the file to check a few things, looked over a few things, didn't change a thing and reloaded it back into the car. I changed nothing in the file. It took about 3-4 times for HP Tuners to communicate with PCM. When it finally did so the car started to idle extremely rough and than it died out. And it keeps on doing so.

The car throws no codes, I checked over to see if anything was changed and nothing was changed, no changes were done to the car either.

I don't know if this is even the right section to post this in but I just need to know that I'm not smoking crack.

BTW: The car is a 2000 Trans AM with a 2000 PCM.

Any help would be great.
