Default No 2-3 wot shift or rev limit

The car shifts great from 1-2 but 2-3 will run right up to 7000 and wont shift till i let off the throttle. Under regular driving it shifts fine. Whats really got me stumped is that the rev limiter did not work either. Shift points are at 6200 and the limiter at 6500 and it went staight to 7000. Any advice would be great. I have other problems to get staight to make the LTX shoot out and this is not helping. Thanks.

sounds like the 3-4 clutch pack is going out. I had the exact same problem and ended up with a new trans.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I went and looked at the car this afternoon and found that there is alot of noise coming from the rear of the trans as well. There is alot of slack in the tailshaft which is probably causing my vibration i have been chasing. Did your rev limiter not work as well, thats really got me stumped as to why that did not work.

my car was doing the same thing the transmission was completly gone through the tuner tried everything an it never would work right. I ended up ordering a baumann opti shift transmission controller and it fixed it. very simple to install and tune.

Thanks for all the info. I was looking at that optishift controler, that thing is pretty sweet, but I think I have more problems with the trans. So a rebuild is in my future. Thanks again for all the responses.
