LS1 4L60E in 69 Camaro - bucking bad! Hey guys - I have a modified LS1 with a SLP stage III package with a 4L60E trans tuned by Speed Inc.
It has been wonderful - however, it just started behaving badly.
Here it is. When it upshifts to 4th and goes to lock up - (low RPM) - the thing starts bucking and jumping like a 1949 tractor with bad fuel.
No check light - however, in the tune certain misfire conditions, etc. are turned off.
If you step on it, and get the RPM up it is fine.
No strange noise - idles fine - opens up like a champ - just bucks like it is going to throw your teeth out at 60 mph or slower - gets worse the slower you go - while it is in lock up.
