So are the new ones any better? Do they pick up more power? More underdrive? Is the outer ring made out of steel still? Why is is SFI approved? Thanks.

did they fix the spacing problem with double roller timing chains and the ASP pulley's, do they still need to be milled to fit?

It's SFI approved because they changed the outer ring design and haven't had any problems.

What problems did the old style have because I have the old one and no problems so far. The only thing that I didnt like was the outer ring was made of steel and now its got the rusty look. Whats different about the new outer ring design? Thanks.

Don't quote me on this but I believe the outer ring on the old pulleys was pressed on, which lead to some rings flying off and going through radiators. Now the ring is welded on instead of pressed.

Are all the new ones SFI approved? If they are they should have a SFI sticker on them.

Quite a while ago. I bought mine last year from Summit and it came with the SFI sticker and the ring was welded on.

How does a crank pulley cause knock retard? Has that been eliminated with the new pulleys and if so, how was that achieved? Last but not least, should I remove my older one and replace it with the SFI one? Would it make any difference because I think that I am getting the knock retard. Thanks.
