Super lean Idle
I did an LQ4 swap in my car a few months ago. I had the true duals put on yesterday and also had them put the AEM wideband sensor in while they did the exhaust. When the car is idling it reads completely of the lean end. Every once in a while it will blip in and say 17.8 for a split second. When I drive it and get on it a bit (like over 3000 rpm's) it comes back around to like 13.0-13.5 as long as I'm into the throttle. The car was also starting hard so I pulled 2 degrees out of the spark while cranking. Now it fires up fine and idles good but just reads off the chart lean! Someone help me out if you can... what needs to be adjusted?

It's got a really healthy cam in it! Should I just watch and see what the plugs are telling me? Also would it take in so much air that it would cause it to read right off the gauge?

I have my 240/244 Vindicator cam idling at what I believe is the correct AFR. Problem is, my WBO2 reads 17.5~18 at idle because of the 18 degrees of overlap. When I cruise around at part throttle 2K+ RPM, it sticks right around 14~14.5 and WOT I have set at a safe 12.6~12.7. I wouldn't go any leaner than 13.0 at WOT though. If yours is running leaner than 13, you may need to bump up the fueling a bit.

Mine does the same thing. 16.0+ at idle and 12-12.5 at WOT. Now I am not saying this is O.K. as far as the idle goes but my car idles pretty well for a Solid Roller, Super Victor set up.
