I need your opinion's
Hi guys
I found power package GM Performance Parts LS6 for 98/99 405HP, now i need your a dvice's about this package, if anyone have another idea let me know..plz
1. My car is for daily drive.
2. I need it just for street race.
3. did the LS1edit is enough with this package?
Package includes:
GM Performance Parts LS6 "CNC Ported" & Assembled Heads (Hollow Stem Intake & Sodium Filled Lightweight GM LS6 Valves)
- GM Head Bolts
- GM Head Gaskets
- GM LS6 Cam
- GM Water Pump Gaskets

Fahad, I would skip that package and give thunder racing a call, they can put you a package together to put down more power than that and I am pretty sure that they will have a comparable price as well. Just my .02 but I think you would be happier with the results from thunder.

I know that mike, but i want my car stock internal without any ported heads and large cam, and for easy use and for daily drive.
Look..maybe today i'll call TR to ask him about the package.

in my opinion, you just need a TR224/560 I guess/112 or 114 you dont need any head modefication or anything, just springs to replace the stock ones. and for sure pushrods. and you should be good. wasting your money on LS6 parts is not a good idea. the intake is good to have. and maf as well.

Fahad, I understand you want to keep your car a good daily driver, but I think there are some more powerful cams than the LS6 cam that would still allow you to do this. The MTI B1, T1, and C1 are all supposed to leave the car with very good driveability and all will produce much more power than the stock LS6 cam. The B1 cam will have the smoothest idle and be easy on springs.
