Default X pipe/H pipe or Y pipe?

Im ordering my long tubes today and I'm trying to decide if i should stick with the Y pipe set up or go with a h or x pipe that meets at a Y before it turns over the axle, as I'm going to use a hooker catback. Im not really worried about power gains and such. However i wanted to know if any of these will make me run a little more rich than the next? I've heard you will run a little bit more rich with an x pipe I just wanted to see if this was true as it will be a few weeks before i can get a tune.
thanx
Travis

X or H - pipe is for true duals (in most cases) not to be merged down to one.
What you want is a decent Y-pipe.

im just going to make my own y pipe i think that would be better. I just hate clearance issues. nothing worse than hearing your exhaust scrape the ground...like nails down a chalk board. how hard is it to put in 02 bungs? im just ognna put in the front ones and have the other **** deleted with ls1 edit perhaps. can i have someone who has edit take the rear o2's out of my pcm for me? i did a search for that but i think im not searching for the right information

Tally had his own Y-pipe made using a 4" Flowmaster collector and dual cutouts.
