Default Bolts wont fit in pressure plate!

Im trying to install my stage 4 competition clutch right now and the bolts wont go all the way thru the pressure plate.. Did anyone else have this problem? I want to drill thru the holes but i don't know what size to use.

Don't you have to give the bolt a half turn or so to get it through the pressure plate after it stops? If I remember correctly (I just did this 2 months ago) but I'm pretty sure just before the thread on the bolt there is a small groove which is what I figured to be the reason its just a semi-turn and your through. The bolt wont come out the other side until I did that. Happened trying to take them off the old one, put the new one on, then that whole procedure again a month later.
