Ok iam finishing up my th350 swap and was wondering if I just bolt the flexplate to the converter or do I use the bolts and put a nut on the other side.

Depends on the converter. Some have threaded "lugs" or pads, some have just pads and require a nut and bolt.

Mine has threaded pads. So I don't need a nut on the end?
