transmission rebuild
well a few syncros have went out in my T56 and i've decided it's time to take it to the transmission shop and get it fixed. so i was wondering besides any synchors/bearings or whatever might be worn inside the transmission what else should i think about replacing.
i've heard that i should go ahead an change the the master and slave cylinders while i'm in there and i was thinking i should maybe go ahead and change the mounts as well. any ideas guys? thanks
also just to fix a few synchros the guy told me it would cost $250 plus parts. does this sound too good to be true or is this about average for labor. i assume if i do change the mounts or cylinders labor would be more.

If they're going to open up the trans I would just do a complete rebuild and not just a few syncros. If the the mount is old or broken replace it. Depending on how many miles are on the hydraulics it might not be a bad idea to replace them

i dont think anything has really been done to the tranny but a clutch and maybe flywheel. everything else should be origional and the transmission has 130,000 miles on it
