Hyd cams don't wear like the Solid Rollers do. Get the used cam and save yourself some cash. I bought my T1 used and it looked brand new with over 8000 miles on it.

Ed, if you're referring to Shant's TR224 cam, i'd go for it. As far as buying a used cam depending on the price I would do it, miles on a cam isn't as big of a deal as other part IMO.
