Backspacing for 15" on 1998 camaro

Default Backspacing for 15" on 1998 camaro
I know this question has been asked and resolved countless times on here. However I dont remember nor can I seem to find the correct offset answer.

I want to order some 15" wheels from jegs to run slicks, what offset would I need to run 15x8 on a 98 Camaro SS?

For 15x8 you need 5.5" backspacing. If you decide to go bigger you need 15x10 with 7.5" bs

Do you know if I will still have to grind with a 15x8 5.5?
