Default Pilot bearing spun in crank

Hey Guys,

I have the small pilot bearing and the bearing has spun in the crankshaft bore. The pilot bearing should knock in and now it just slides in and out. I have had alot of problems with this bearing over the years. I tried the brass bushing pilot bearing and it squealed really bad. Anyone run into this problem. I would like to use the big pilot bearing, but it won't work with my trans. Are there any upgrades? Maybe a CTS-V input shaft. Will it work in a f body T-56? My trans is faceplated.

The brass pilot bearing does knock in and out but the factory small pilot bearing just slides in and out. My crankshaft is a Eagle forge crankshaft.

Yeah, a faceplated CTS-V length MM6 input and big bearing would work.

Are the input splines the same? Can I use my clutch disc? That would be cool.

Yes the splines are still 26 and in the right place for the disc.

Mike posted a good comparison picture of a few different GM inputs around here if you search a bit.
