2001 Camaro Z28 vs 2007 Pontiac G6 GTP
I knew the outcome of this race before it even started. My friend, who is in the G6, always said he wanted to buy a GTO, preferably the LS2 one, but couldn't afford it. So instead he lays down $16,000 for this low mileage G6 GTP, which is quick for a V6, but put up against any V8 is slow as ****.
He wanted to race anyways, so while were on the highway coming back from Florida we did a few runs. Most were from 60-70MPH, I honked it off, and one time he just jumped on me, let me play catch up. The results are exactly what you'd expect. It's a low quality vid, sorry.

Good kill. I like the G6 GTP's, but they should have come with a modern version of the supercharged 3.8. They make decent power stock (rated 250 I believe), but I don't think there's much of an aftermarket for them.

You're right. My friend is always asking me if I know of any aftermarket parts for it. The 3.9 was a short lived engine with a very small after market part selection. The G6 GTP is rated at 253HP, then there is the G6 GXP with improved induction system and exhaust rated at 270HP. Either way, they are both N/A 3.9's...not really capable of hanging with an LS1, or any V8 for that matter.
