Default Balance old or buy new?

Pulled my old LS1 and have a crate LS6 ready to go in it's place. I have a spec stage 2 plus setup that maybe has 800 road course track miles on it. I think i have three options right now and just want a little input.

Have the current setup balanced to zero, bolt it up and run it.

The flywheel and pressure plate have the inserts. Replace the inserts (very few miles on them) balance to zero and run it.

Or just get a whole new setup.

My funds kind of dictate that I just balance out the current setup and let her eat, but if I really needed to, I can replace the inserts. I would really hate to need to buy a new setup and push my build even farther back.

Any opinions would be cool guys. Thanks

Default

LS1 and LS6 use the same flywheel balance.

Pull it, measure wear of the disc, inspect the surfaces and run it.
