My 99 Z-28 only a lid and a very basic EFI Live tune by me. Haven't spent much time on it. Currently running in SD mode because of a bad MAF.

Cammed / Geared / Full Bolt on LT1 T/A M6 - 2 cars.
04 Mustang GT 2V - Geared and Diablo Tune - 15+ cars? IDK, really bad
New (not sure what year) 350 Z - Stock - Couple Busses
05 Mustang - Stock - A lot
09 Mustang - Bolt ons - A lot

One thing I haven't beaten yet is my buddies Turbo Cobalt SS. Has bolt ons / tune, etc. Goes 13.9 @ 106ish AT THIS ALTITUDE. Gets me by 2-2.5 cars

Overall very impressed with this car. It's getting a 3600 Edge Converter, TSP SS 1 7/8 headers, ORY, Magnaflow CB, 150 shot. All very soon.

That depends on the driver also but my 02 Camaro SS A4 went 12.87 w/ a P&P TB and hand tuner so it is possible !

my headers/catback/CAI m6 T/A has pulled close to stock ls1's, so I don't know why that lt-1 had so much trouble?

Sounds about right to me. I always raped both of my friends cammed lt1's. Actually I used to own a 93 z28 with bolt-ons and hotcam. My mods at the time wure lid, cutout, and tune and I always pulled pretty hard on them. Lt1's run so damn moody you never know. I know My car stock would have beat my cammed lt1. Lt1 heads suck.

My LT1 when it was setup with a baby cam would have beat my 99. A lot of it is driver and setup. Just because it's "cammed" doesn't mean its a good setup...

No LT hate here, I own both. Just fact

And then I also had a friend who ran 12.2 on an unbalanced 355 with full bolt-on's, a hot cam, and drag wheels. Different cars run to different potentials. Like the majority of LT1's, I've also seen a few beat to crap, higher mileage LS1's that disappoint. Not trying to defend the LT1 by any means - I want to sell mine, burn it to the ground, or any means necessary to collect money from it lol

i've seen plenty of medium cammed, stalled lt1s go low 12s @ 108-110, even on n2o tunes.

must've been a poorly set up car, lord knows there are more modded cars that run like that than there are ones that run what they should, or even remotely close.

i'd think that a cammed, geared (410?) m6 lt1 would walk away from a lid/tune a4 ls1, unless it was very light.

Coulda just been a lt4 hot cam car. I could see it then. Those stock ls1's are unbeatable ya know. Funny how the only ones that lose on here are the ones that have work done
