6.0 in 99 mustang
#5
Knievel, thanks for the reply. If you have any suggestions feel free to tell me. I have a lq4 and put a 585 comp cam and put comp springs and trick flow push rods in the 317 heads. Well i had a change of thought and going to try to purchase some 243 heads and put the springs and push rods on them. There was another guy that hooked me up with a k-member site on jegs that i might go with. He also told me to check craigs list for the rear end with 410 gears. Do you know how i measure the heads when i find some and put them on the block to make shure the push rods i have will work. Also will the fuel pump that is on the mustang going to be good enough for the 6.0. Thanks it is a good project.

I believe it will be the same pushrods with either set of heads (unless they have been milled a bunch)
The AJE kmember/dynatech headers is an easy swap that almost puts itself together!
I didn't personally use the factory pump so I cant comment on what it is good for
The hardest part for me was the wiring/getting rid of all of the unneeded garbage when doing the swap.
Look around on here and use the search becuase there are a few 99+ cars that have been done
