Default Tuning & the lt4 knock module

I have the stock module currently & PCM tuned by madtuner which includes desensitizing the knock module somewhat. Next step in upgrades will be the lt4 module. This looks like a plug and play swap but will my PCM need to be change in any way or will it run & run correctly without any changes.

This depends on what your tuner already did. If you had a lot of false knock and he turned it all the way down then it will run the same since the knock module is pretty mch usless at that point. Do you have headers and roller rockers?

Headers with cut outs getting put on this week is my sig not showing up again ? :/

So at worst it will just render the knock sensor useless.

Remember, the knock sensor and the knock module are two completely different things. The knock sensor (in the block) translates engine vibration into a constant electrical signal while the knock module (in the PCM) interprets the signal.

Yes the module is an upgrade. And im on my phone and sigs don't show up. Headers don't nessarly need an lt4 km but if you don't want to deal with retune then its a good way to go. But I would retune to get the most out of the set up
