Default On a quest for a turbo 1000 hp 5.3

Just trying to get some ideas on how to get this done and even if there are some links to some other threads that will lead me in the right direction. I'm trying to build this motor with minimal effort thanks for any input.

I go to school of auto machinist and it was done with 650 hp on a completely bone stock motor with a 72 mm turbo, I believe I can do it or get close and this is going to be my project. I'll pick up the September issue and try searching more on here. Again any info much appreciated

Hot rod did a twin ebay turbo build on a basically stock 4.8 and made 1200hp. 1000hp from a 5.3 shouldn't be too hard.
