Some modify their original one by cutting the mounting tab and rewelding it lower. Takes a little bit of modifying and finding the correct angle but some like it.

There's a few stickies about the swap over at nastyz28.com in their transmission section. The 4L80E slides right in, no need to modify the trans tunnel. I think Jake Shoe may also offer a cross member but you'd have to check his web site so don't quote me on that.

I talked to Jake yesterday and your correct it goes in the tunnel he said i only need to dent the tunnel slightly to make room for the electric plug on the tranny,i like the tubular trans cross members at the transmission center prolly gonna get one of those,Thanks for the help.
