I have a 96 impala and Right now I have a complete Turbo technologies system waiting for install. I seen a Paxton novi 2500 head unit for sale for a good price. My question is how would a big novi like that act on a small 355 street car. Im not looking to race the car just have a killer street beast. Will the car be able to be taken on road trips with a unit like that? I know it will take more money to get this to work but im in no hurry. Was just thinking it would be nice to have 650hp Impala SS roaming the streets. Any help or thoughts are appreciated. Debating on selling turbo kit

I have a procharger F1-A on a 383. Mine's a "street beast". Put down 648 on the dyno. It's very streetable, and I've taken it on road trips. The good thing about forced induction is it's up to you whether you're in boost or not. If you're just cruising down the highway, you'll be in vacuum most of the time, and just expelling the pressurized air right out the BPV/BOV. Runs like stock when you want it to, and becomes a totally different animal when you get into it.

If it is the one Jeff Green was selling ask him. He is a straight up guy and if he does not believe it would suit your plans he would say so.

At one point I inquired about some axle parts he was selling and he told me flat out they were wrong for my wimpy little NA car

Yeah its the one Jeff has I spoke with him last year about a setup price but ended up getting a deal on the turbo setup .Ill pm him on the SS site and see what info he can give me. Thanks for the info I was just trying to get a few opinions.
