Here's a pic of mine while it was in progress. The flash made the fabric look lighter than it really is. It's kinda basic but it meets my needs.

Are you pretty happy with it? I'd like to lose the weight and gain the storage area. What methods have y'all used? I know there are kits...

The rear seats don't really weigh much. The MDF probably weighs just as much if not more.

This, I'm really only doing it because the seats are almost worthless and want the storage area so I don't have to use hatch.

The seats, bottoms and rears with seatbelt weigh about 5 pounds more than the delete set. So min weight savings and NO horsepower increase.

If you just need storage whats wrong with just setting stuff on the seats? Besides if you take away two of the seats that's two less seats for the ladies

I like to have my stuff not sit in the open, I usually leave textbooks, backpack, stuff I don't want people to steal (thats too big for glovebox) there and fold the seats over them.

I think the rear seats look like crap and they look better folded down lol.

I can agree with you there, I hate how everything sits in plain view in 4th gens. I usually stick textbooks under the drivers seat, and throw anything bigger like a backpack in the t-top well.

I also think the car looks a lot cleaner without them in. Folded down is a great option too.

I just fold my seats down to hide textbooks or anything else. I want to do a rear seat delete but I cannot tell you how many times those seats have come in handy. Plus the size of the back seats keeps the size of the women in check no fat chx!!

This!!!! Rear seat delete's look stupid and it's pointless. Get a Corvette if you don't want rear seats.

I get it if you are a drag racer and need as little weight as possible but if it is just a stret car it is pretty pointless

I have a set of 6LE's rear seat delete panels and I'll be putting them in when I get started on my interior work. I have the Wolfe 6 point cage, and it makes the back seats pretty useless, and it look kinda like crap to me just to have nothing back there. The delete panels kinda smooth it out a bit, plus I plan on mounting my bottles on the passenger side delete panel. I'll post up some pics when I'm done. Should look pretty good
