Question LSX Questions

This is a question for those who have installed the LSX intake on their cars.

1. Did the computer adjust to the airflow of the LSX. In other words, did you have to have your car retuned.

2. Did your gas milage change or did it remain the same?

Thanks for your responses.

I might be that guy

haven't tracked the mileage yet, was just cruising it all weekend to break in the new clutch. I also have a tiny vacuum leak I'm going to fix tonite, that can have a negative effect on mileage.

Car seems to be running fine. I'd seen many reports of this intake leaning out a car alot, but mine is fine it seems(haven't put my autotap on it yet) I also went back to a bonestock MAF screen and all for now because the car was way to lean with the new motor on its current tune..

Not sure how much that helps, but there ya go

Great topic as I have been wanting feedback on this as well. I am planning to install QTP LT's which should make the car a little rich - BUT - I plan to install the LSX as the very same time which I felt might tend to lean the car out a bit - SO - hopefully they will offset each other and work out GREAT!

I plan to Autotap the car afterwards to double check everything - but hope to be able to dodge the expense of LS1Edit if possible.

If AutoTap does show a lean or rich condition though - my MAFT should be able to handle that - right? Thanks for any further input here... Patrick
