How do you install a center AC vent on a TA?

How do you install a center AC vent on a TA? One of my center ac vents broke, so I took it completely out. I bought a new one, but I can't seem to get it in. I figured it would just pop right in, but it seems too big. How do i go about putting the new one in?

Did you buy the correct one? The center vents are different sizes that the two outer vents.
You just need to install the ring, or the whole assembly? Got a pic of what you bought, or what you're working with? It all should just slide in and snap. Opposite of how you removed it (unless you did a terrible job of removing the old pieces).

Nevermind, I'm stupid. I didn't realize that the outermost ring, the one that attaches to the dash itself, was still on. Didn't have my contacts in and it looked like part of the dash.
