Default Which option to go with...

I am new to the ls1 and was wondering what option to go with. I am a completely stock t/a with a ram air conversion. I was wondering if I should go with longtubes and exhaust or buy a t/c and shift kit. This is for a A4. What option would help me get better e.t.'s at the track. Thanx.

Go ahead and do a lid first and maybe a cutout...and then do the TC and shift kit...the TC will net you the most gain but the lid/cutout are a must...go with something 3500+ or you will regret it down the road...

I agree with Wes, do the basic stuff first. Start off with a lid and a catback/cutout. After that, the next logical mod for an A4 would be a high stall torque converter. Definitely go with a stall speed higher than 3000, or you absolutely will regret it when the big-mod-bug bites you... and trust me, it will. It's already bitten all of us
