Default 241 exhaust ports (pics)

241 heads,,,, i shaped all the exhaust ports (cut down the rocker boss and took out the bump). i just did some pocket porting i really didn't touched the walls or the roof of the exhaust port.... noticed the 243 heads have D shaped exhaust ports, should i do that with the 241 exhaust port? included some pics for ya'lls advice and thoughts.

last one is a file photo of an unported exhaust. i used a carbide cutter to shape and then did a bit more shaping with 80grit rollers and then very quickly hit it with 120 grit rollers to make it look decent for the pics.

Those look decent, but do NOT drop the floor just to make it a D shape.
The 243s have the floor raised to create the D. Also leave the intakes
a bit rougher @ 80 grit when you polish.

I left mine alone but some make it more U shaped...don't know but it seems
the more people do in there the head flows more air BUT the general made
them that way for a reason(tumble and turbulance) so I stayed stock in the
bowl except a cartridge roll
