i have an automatic 01 ss and i put my lt headers on yesterday but im noticing now that car shifts ok during normal driving but when i floor it it will shift out of 1st somtimes at 5 sometimes at 6 and in 2nd gear it doesnt want to shift out of it, will keep going to redline past 6 and i back off. so now when i want to race i can only get to the top of 2nd before im redlining and have to slow way down. never used to do this before i just finished my mods this past two weeks all the mods i did are listed in my sig please help

Is your tranny slipping? Or is it pulling all the way to 6K and just not shifting?

Sounds like u burned clutches 3 and 4 thats what happen to mine check ur trans oil if it looks dark red or u see like shavings then u will need to replace or rebuild it
