Default HMP Adds Three New HEADS UP Classes - ATTN Street Cars

**Small Tire - Heads Up – All Run
$50 Entry – Car and Driver
$500 Win & $200 Runner Up - Guaranteed
1. 275/60 Tire or Smaller, 10.5 x 28 or smaller permitted (No W’s)
2. Backhalf and Power Adders Permitted
3. No Full Tube Chassis Cars. Backhalf permitted.
4. Small block 3000 lbs. Big Block 3200 lbs. Turbos add 200 lbs.
5. .400 Tree / Pro Ladder


**Street Legal Outlaws – Heads Up – All Run
$30 Entry – Car and Driver
$300 Win & $100 Runner Up – Guaranteed
1. DOT tires, Mufflers, Working Alternator, Headlights, Tailights, Brake Lights and Turn Signals
2. Current License Plate, Inspection and Insurance (Antique plates needs no inspection)
3. Power adders permitted
4. .400 Tree / Pro Ladder

Plus...$50 Bonus to Street Legal Outlaw Winner if car was driven onto HMP property, driven to ticket booth and then into pit area. Support Trailer May Follow. HMP does own the property including the gravel driveway out front. Cars may not unload from their trailer in front of or on HMP property.


**Street Legal Warriors – Heads Up – All Run
$30 Entry – Car and Driver
$300 Win & $100 Runner Up
1. DOT Tires ONLY – 11 inch wide rim or smaller. Any Size Tire BUT No Part of Rear Tires May Extend Out of Wheel Wells. Car May Not Be Jacked Up to Where Rear Quarter Is Higher Than Tire.
2. Working Horn, Windshield Wipers, Alternator, Headlights, Taillights and Turn Signals.
3. Full Interior consisting of Carpet, Headliner, Door Panels, Passenger Seat & Rear Seat (if originally manufactured with rear seat).
4. All Glass Windows and Windshields
5. Factory OEM Body Parts or Aftermarket OEM Replacement Body Parts. Fiberglass Hood Permitted.
6. Factory Wheel Wells. Mini Tubs ok. No Backhalves or Full Tube Chassis.
7. Current License Plate, Inspection and Insurance. No Exceptions for Antique Plates.
8. Gasoline Only. Racing fuel permitted. No alcohol or E85.
9. Power Adders Permitted.
10. .400 Pro Tree / Pro Ladder
11. Winner & Runner Up Must Make Cruise After Race to Collect Purse Check.

Any competitor may protest the Street Legal status of any other competitor prior to 1st round of qualifying. If that happens, both competitor making protest and competitor being protested must make a cruise.
Street Legal Outlaw cruise will consist of driving to Walmart at Wilson Rd & Beltway 8 and back. Cars must pull into the Walmart parking lot, come to a complete stop in a valid parking spot and return back to HMP. Any car stopping during the cruise for any reason other than above and traffic control devices (stop lights, stop signs, etc) will be DQ’d and entry fee forfeited.
Street Legal Warrior cruise will consist of making a big loop from track to Beltway 8 via Lockwood to 59S and back via East Mount Houston. Any car stopping during the cruise for any reason other than traffic control devices (stop lights, stop signs, police, etc) will be DQ’d and entry fee forfeited.
HMP may or may not assign a witness to travel with one or both competitors. It is up to both competitors to monitor each other and report any violations back to HMP.

^^ that car doesnt appear to have dot tires. im confused

the new classes look pretty sweet tho

Those could be something like et streets. DOT tire but not radial.

i just read "DOT Tires" i didnt read anything about "Radials"

The street Warriors class is set up to bring out the late model cars. There is going to be a few old school cars in it. John is wanting this class to be for the newer cars that are running on the street daily.

It's time for these shop that produce 1k rwhp cars to step up and get these cars to the track to see what they will do.

They were checked and they were a DOT tire. His is running in the street outlaw class
