What type of gains putting 799 heads on a LQ4?

What type of gains putting 799 heads on a LQ4? Im new to LS engines and Im currently changing a head gasket on my 02 1500HD. The trucks always been a dog and im trying to wake it up a bit. I have a set of 799 heads that are ready to go on and im looking for a set of headers for it.
Is there going to be any gains switching to the 799 head? what type of bump in compression am I going to see? Will it need tuned?

The 799 heads will wake that motor up, give it a lot better throttle response. It will bring the CR from 9:1 to about10.2:1. I would also get them milled for the Lq4, TSP did mine for $80 and that bumped the CR to about 10.6. Night and day throttl response difference. Definately worth doing!

The 799 heads will wake that motor up, give it a lot better throttle response. It will bring the CR from 9:1 to about10.2:1. I would also get them milled for the Lq4, TSP did mine for $80 and that bumped the CR to about 10.6. Night and day throttl response difference. Definately worth doing!
