Default PCM & HPP3 Question Within..........

I have a 99'SS with HPP3 for spedo calibration with gears and 160 T-Stat. The SES light is on and I would like to reset the PCM. Will I need to put the programmng on the HPP3 back to stock before resetting the PCM? I am not using the HPP3 for any kind of "tuning". Thanks in advance for your time. I appreciate any help you can offer.

Thanks, I just wanted to be sure. Anyway, I tried resetting the PCM, but SES is still on. If I have a someone with an OBDII scanner clear the code, will I have to take off HPP3 programming first? I can't afford to have the PCM lock up for any reason.

Go to hypertech site and they have the install and info on their site. If someone goes in an edits your PCM i think you have to have it back to stock first..
