yah it was pretty awesome, its kinda hard to see people at a distance and the controls are way different than cod, takes some getting used too. but overall it is badass

played it on 360 last night, CodMod3 will be better as far as 360 goes. I didn't know people actually still played black ops, I honestly thought they had migrated back to CodMod2. BF3 will be sick on the PC though.

I d'loaded 360 version last night, but it would never connect to the server. FAIL. I hope they get that issue addressed when the real deal hits the shelves.

I got to play it for a couple hours yesterday on xbox. The controls like mentioned earlier take some getting used to. Everyone is running around with the engineer class and just shooting RPG's. The sniping isn't so great IMO. It feels like the scopes don't let you see very well at all. As V8sten said, seeing other players long distance is nearly impossible. Sometimes you will see a white light glowing back at you. I assume it's their weapon scope. The destructive environments are pretty nice. Also, the perks you get as you level up give you a huge advantage over anyone who has just started. If it's your first time through you will be destroyed by the higher levels. It took me an hour just to start getting some kills. There was a feature I noticed called team spawn on your location. Unfortunately it doesnt seem to work all that well. You end up spawning right in the line of fire and all 6 of you die instantly. It happened frequently when in the matches I played. Overall fun game though. I enjoyed it a lot more than black ops.

MW3 better than BF3? If you like running around and just shooting at **** endlessly....there is a chance of it being better. Otherwise, having vehicles ect, it is a way better game, they should rename MW3, MW2.5 since it looks like a extension of MW2, i have not been impressed, it will still be good, but nothing vastly improved over the previous MW title. There will be added features as you would suspect, but the movement of characters and what not will be inferior, i have seen both and the Frost2 gaming engine is beast.

You must have got on later than me, we were playing fine all night then the servers reset for adjustment and went down for a while, they are consistently improving them Beta for the final product. BFBC1 had server issues, then BFBC2 had less, so this one may be even better. There is allot of **** going on playing these games, unlike the COD series where there is no **** ton of vehicles everywhere doing damage.


If those of you are not familiar with the controls, you may not be familiar with previous BF titles, they are near the same for me and i have had no issues using them.

I played it this morning and it wasnt all that great i kind of got bored of it in 10min, i am hoping the actual game is a lot better.
