Problems already.... ok so about a month ago i got a 99 trans am. ran fine for a week and then it wouldnt start, after a week of finding out what was wrong i got it back today(got new alternator, etc). I went for a drive to see how it was running and it ran fine until i was about to get on the inerstate going 55-60 it starting to feel like it was dying, so i put the clutch to downshift so i could slow down and the rpms lanched to 3k and my thermometer went all crazy aswell. Then i had my mom drive it and of course my luck nothing went wrong while she was drving? So what do you think is wrong or am i doing wrong?

when my alternatpor went i had to get like three different ones to find a good one but whenver i did the RPMS went crazy for about a day then it went back to normal, i dont know if our cars just eat them up or if i just got a bad bunch of them.
