Default Any one running an LQ4 and 243/799 heads?

Im looking at going to an LQ4 with AI 799 Heads and cam, of course it will have the supporting bolt ons. What are people seeing for track times? Any info would be great. Thanks

I ran a Lq9 with 799 ported castings and a fast 90 with a pretty big camshaft. Car went 10.81 at 126.

3600 with me in it. Not sure of the d/a but we are kinda close to sea level here in Baton Rouge. The right cam and compression with your combo is KEY! Give EPS a call, he's the man IMHO

Its gonna run about the same as a 5.7, maybe just a tad quicker. You would have a lot more luck asking for 5.7 info.

I had a n20 camshaft in the car but couldnt get the converter to hold the n20. On a 50 shot I went 10.39 @131. Converter wouldnt take any more. That motor was super reliable!!! A 5.7 can be built to run by all means but it won't hold up like the tried and true iron 6.0. I will spend less money and be more reliable any day of the week than building an alum. 5.7. My 2cents.
