New pics, want input......
Got around to cleaning the car up today, Z2ed it (normally just Z5) and went out looking for good spots to take some pics. I snapped a few off, let me know what you guys think of these. I know you've seen the car, I'm wanting more of a comment on the actual pictures I took. What can I do better to make them look better? Also, are the 4/11 pics (newest pics in the grass) better or worse than the last round of pictures I took on last Friday (on that backroad, top 9 pics in that album)? Photography and mainly photographing my car is just a side hobby of mine, but I'd like to get more involved in photography of both my car and really cool looking nature sceens, so any comments and constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.
Also, don't just click the pic and look at it, click the "View Full Size" under the picture for a better quality shot. When uploading Webshots compresses the photos and makes them look pretty funky until you view the full size.
A sneak peak for now, for the rest go to http://community.webshots.com/user/josh99ta and the 99 Trans Am (2003) album for the bigger pictures (1280x960).

Re: New pics, want input......
They look pretty good. As far as hints, I remember reading an article in Hot Rod a while ago. On of the editors wrote an article to the readers about taking good pics. They said a big thing is to avoid pics of cars on grass. They said something like "it's made for pavement, not the 'gentle' grass". So yeah, that's one thing. Another thing I noticed was how much better the photos when you were a little further away, and you could see the road trailing off in the background. There were two shots like that: a front and a rear. Those IMO were the best. But yeah, you've got an edge on me, I'm not the greatest photographer, I'll have to work on that when I see my TA again this summer. Good work so far...

Lookin' good Josh I have to disagree with RSdragster. Usually when a cars sitting in the grass with the right amount of light it looks awesome. I tried to find a pic of a NBM Carl Black TA that I've seen a few times. Car looks awesome sitting in the grass. But the pics you had of the woodsy backroad were a tad better. Keep the good pics coming!

Re: New pics, want input......
I like the pic, its a good shot as far as photographiclly. Nice scenery and all that.
I kinda dont like seein shots on the grass cause in a way, the grass "overwhelms" the shot so to speak. It just seems you notice the grass a little bit more than if it were on a road. Sometimes finding a fairly wide country road, and takin a complete lane pic (where the car takes up both sides) w/ a lil bit of road behind the car can be a good pic. Or, like some of the pics i've seen in the desert w/ a little bit of scenery behind 'em it makes the car look badass, imo.
Either way, thats a good pic. maybe a little more angled where the car was head on, and it'd look a little better. Just my opinion anyway...still a good pic

A nice shot sometime around sunset will probably look awesome due to yor car's color. Give that a shot.
