Default Custom G8 GXP TT project

I figured I'd share some pictures of my project since I got so much information from these forums.

The car is an 09 Pontiac G8 GXP M6. (these cars have the LS3 for those who are unfamiliar).

Turbo setup:
all fab work by "Dr. Tran" at Inline Racing in Houston.
(He did Nick K's TT Z06 as well)
twin precision 6265 billet, ball bearing turbos
twin tial 38mm mvs wastegates
tial 50mm bov
Custom ETS intercooler anodized black (twin 2.5" inlets, single 3" outlet)
Hargett QDC 2.5"/3" clamps
LS7 slot style MAF
3.0 gpm scavenge pump
AEM wideband 02, autometer full sweep electrical boost and oil pressure gauge
LS9 map

We started the fabrication about a month ago. I'm setting my car up different than most twin turbo G8s. I think the 6265s are the largest twins I've seen on a G8 so far. It may be a bit overkill, but, what the hell!! Also, I chose to run my charge pipes under the subframe instead of through the fenderwells. The clearance is low, about 3". So far it hasn't proven to be a problem.

We were gonna make full custom turbo headers but decided that the cast manifolds would work fine. My end goal is 700whp in the 10-12psi range. Currently boost is set at 5.5 psi. Spool seems to be very quick, coming in hard at about 3200rpm. We'll see how the car does after tuning this week.

Turbos with the connector pipes we made...

Great looking build, very similar to the kit i built for my 05 CTS-V. https://ls1tech.com/forums/cadillac-...-pictures.html
Ever make it to cars and coffee? I'd like to see your car in person.

Do you have plans for air cleaners? I had the same issue and never found an solution with how the turbos were placed in the pictures from the link above. Now I'm upgrading to T4 turbos and angling them so the intake faces more to the tires and wedging a intake and filter into the inner finder.

Right now I'm just running mesh screens until I find a better solution.

Yeah, I go to C&C but I haven't been in a few months. I hope to attend again soon...with my TT setup!

I do like the stealth of them not being in the engine comp. Good job and I bet the thing is a blast!!

Very cool! You are really going to want to put air filters on there.

Looks great! Good packaging under there.

I'd be afraid of ripping the oil lines off on something, they are pretty low. Maybe hardline them?
