General LSX Automobile Discussion - How bad is this block crack?

Anyone know if this motor can still run safely or will I need to change the block?
In my experience it's never a good bet to try and fix a cracked block. Easier, safer and ultimately more reliable to find a new block. Besides, if it cracks again you'll have to buy another block anyway. Buy another block the first time around and it's one less thing to worry about...

Ha ha, but true. If I see a crack in either a block on a transmission case. I say replace it. Just not worth having it crack again.
