Does Anyone Have Vintage Wheel Works Wheels
I'm seriously thinking about ordering a set of these wheels for my Camaro pending size availability.

I would like to put 18x11" out back and 18x9.5" in front. The car will to lowered 1.5". I think the gray spokes will tie in nicely with the stripes and give it that old school muscle car look. I was originally looking at the TT gray spoke classics, but I'm told they are made in china and it takes forever to get them if you special order them. I'm also told of people having issues getting them balanced properly. I also like the lighter color gray on the V-45's.
What are your thoughts guys?

I know there's going to be a few here that prefer the "contemporary" look, but I would like to make the car look like it was built to be a special edition Super car. Similar to the "Bill Thomas" 2002 35th Anniversary Nickey Camaro.

Those wheels are straight from AR. You can buy that wheel from Summit racing. I ran them on my T/A forever...
here they are on that same site- http://driverzinc.com/product/american-cl205/
A pic of my car with the A/R's.

FYI

A 17x9.5 TT2 requires a 7" backspacing and it is the closest thing to these. However, since they are a different wheel, the 6.5" backspacing may work. With these wheels, if it is more than 6.5" they won't look right. I really really wanted these wheels for my silver SS. Give vintage wheel works a call to see if they will fit our cars without messing up the looks of the wheels. If they do, please post up with what works! If they won't work, your best bet would be to get a set of TT2s and have them powdercoated like the one on the red SS posted previously.
