Have an APS C5 system installed on my C6. LG upgraded turbos, standard APS scavenge pump. Smokes at idle at times - especially when the oil gets hot. I run 20 W 50 oil in this thing. Sometimes it's not bad, other times I'm embarrassed.....makes 1000 hp and the freakin thing looks like its about to blow up.

Ive heard of people using the Exo pump. Does anybody have any suggestions? Louis says do not run restrictors, and I dont wanna starve the turbos anyway.....

Suggestions??????????

Louis is right dont run restrictors in the Journal Bearings. Are the Seals bad in the Turbos??? might have to send them to Robert and have him take a look.

do a leak down on the car i just had this same thing happen to me turned out the engine was smoked. any oil in the cold side?
