Question Sponsor & experts opinion on the newer big flow solenoids

.

Who has used, and how did you like the new generations of N2O noids.
Thinking about updating to one of the .250 for my 400 HP fogger??
Which model do you like or not like??

Also, are they all made by the same guy, so it makes no difference, buy them by price,
since they are the same with a different stick thrown on??

Thanks guys.

There are many differences when it comes to solenoids. Some people assume a solenoid is a solenoid and I could not disagree enough.

I use the Promod style solenoids on custom builds here as well. We need to get them added to our website.

Give me a call at the shop tommorow and lets discuss what you are trying to achieve and what you need.

Court tomorrow, but next time it rains I'll try & call.

I'm trying to run a 2nd stage, 400 HP and I want to use 1 noid for both banks.
I hate having 4 noids per stage, I'm always worried 1 noid will puke, and 3 are still flowing??
I know, I'm a worry wart, but I've read that one .250 noid can flow well over 400 hp fogger.

No Biggie, I have a second now so Ill explain.

Some people claim a solenoid is a solenoid. When they make that statement you can rest assure they do not know what they are talking about or they are just tryingto sale you something that they are aware could be better.

There are different coil amperages and materials that the coils are made from. There are differences in the piston materials and how the pistons are designed. There are differences in port design. There are defferences in machining quality and over all design.

As far as the science in the solenoid its going to have to do with the following mostly.

Orfice size, coil amperage, piston seat

When I am designing a custom system for a customer I take the cars voltage system, hors epower requirements, and how its being used into concideration.

I talked to one of your guys for 1/2 an hour, and got all the info I needed.
We have been discussing the design for my new set up and will decide sometime after the season, which way to go.

I learned a lot and it really helped, I appreciate his information.

Thanks,

.
