Default maf confusion

OK I'm confused on the subject of blow thru mafs. I briefly talked to a respected local tuner about getting a tune for my car in a few months. I was originally going to do a 2bar SD tune on my 98 pcm,but I was told by my tuner it would suit my needs better to run a blow thru maf.I live in the Seattle area where temp and humidity change quite often in a day.my car is a street car so drivability is a concern. I have searched and can't come up with the right answer. Should I go draw thru or blow thru? And which maf? I currently have my stock descreened and ported housing. Is this OK? Should I get a new housing with the screen?my car is a 98 z28 m6 with a front mount t76 and a rps 50mm bov . I'm still putting the car together so now's the time to
change stuff if need be. Thanks

Not sure on the blow through maf but I believe its the pcm that's the limiting factor and not the maf

On a side note if the tuner is good at sd tuning and it is done correctly there should be noticable driving differences between MAF or SD tune

How do you mean? I would think the maf tune would be more streetable due to reading volume vs vacuum and boost.

If it is a good tune, MAF will be better driveability. Blow through gets it closer to the cylinders so that is also a good thing. If you end up converting to a slot MAF it needs to blow though anyway as it also contains the intake air temp sensor.
