Removing drivers side 02 sensor...

Removing drivers side 02 sensor... Whats the trick? Talking about the one up in the manifold near steering shaft.
Maybe one of those crows foot style o2 sensor sockets? remove steering shaft?

When I had my 98 camaro I had to go buy one of those O2 sockets for 6 bucks from harbor freight to remove it. They're the sockets with the slit on the side for the wire. With the socket it was easy to remove just shoved it on and it came off without much effort.
