after you hold the pedal down in traffic or whatever, does it release right off the floor and have the pedal hang up about half way? if you lift it with your toes, it shifts fine afterwards?

if so, that sounds alot like what mine was doing. also, my fluid was turning black after 2 weeks of normal driving. i replaced my master with an o'reillys unit, and wrapped my line in high temp. tape and its been great ever since.

Sounds like the master cylinder is internally bypassing, Tick has an upgraded adjustable unit that happens to be on sale currently.
