spacer needed on camaro brembos like cts-v brembos??? need info asap!
im right in the middle of installing my 2010 disks and calipers on the front of my 01 ss and cant find a piece of info i need... Do you need to use the washer spacer technique on the camaro brembos like you do on the cts-v brembos? im using the camaro rotors (machined out hubs) and know i need to drill my spindle out to 14mm so thats taken care of. im waiting on my brother to press in my new arp studs into the hubs and want to have everything ready to go when they get done. tried the search, couldn't find my answer.

They should be identical to the Brembo four-pistons on the previous model CTS-V and the G8 GXP, so the process will be the same.

Finished the swap last night, used braided lines and 2010 camaro brembos with hawk hps pads (to delete the weights) and a 9/16th drill bit to bore the spindles out. I have C5 Magnesium wheels with 65mm back space so i had to use a 1/2 inch spacer, a bit more than i wanted to. I feel save with the spacers though, new longer arp studs were installed to take care of that. Its pretty close between the wheel and caliper, about 2-3mm. Right in the middle of a 200 mile road trip and it has been flawless so far! huge improvement in pedal feel and stopping power!
